Today's question was what led us to join Weight Watchers? What led us to this point? Well I honestly don't have an aha moment. There wasn't some great big revelation that made join.
I had a co-worker who had joined and she seemed really excited with her success. When an at-work meeting came up at her friend's office, she decided to join that and invited me to come along. So I did.
She eventually quit, but I kept at it. Why? Because I don't really know how to quit. And even though I've put back everything that I lost (and then some), I'm still attending meetings.
I'm still trying to, first, get back to my lowest weight since on WW and being able to maintain that. Then, work to lose even more.
But it's not just about the weight. It's about getting fit and feeling better.
I've never been thin. I was a heavy kid. I'm a heavy adult. But that doesn't mean I have to stay this way. I need to work to change that and it is work. If anyone tells you it's easy, they're lying. But if you want it, you have to do it.
